SDA is housing that is purpose-built or modified for participants who live with functional impairment or very high support needs. It focuses on the physical design of the home, ensuring it is safe, accessible, comfortable and with enhanced functionality.

Every SDA project comes with unique requirements, but above all else, compliance is non-negotiable. Final design specifications must meet the criteria for particular SDA categories, based on the needs of the client and will always be validated by an independent SDA assessor. Suitability will depend on individual needs. Where appropriate, we recommend seeking advice from an occupational therapist or qualified design professional.
