Hunting for George x kaboodle kitchen
check out our recent kitchen collaboration with home, design and lifestyle hub, Hunting for George!
We collaborated with Hunting for George for the second season of their YouTube series Reno Goals, where they revamp a 1930's weatherboard home in the coastal town of Lorne, Victoria.

A kitchen makeover was on the agenda, so Hunting for George reached out to see how we could help out with the transformation. As you can see, the existing kitchen was a little dated and in need of some love. They decided to completely remove the old kitchen and update it with some new cabinetry, while also better utilising the space. They used the back wall of the kitchen to create a floor to ceiling run of cabinetry creating ample storage!
Lucy used the Bunnings design service to plan the kitchen, using the kaboodle 3D planner to visualise and get a feel for what was possible with the space. Because they wanted to utilise every nook and cranny, they used our cut to measure service, which allowed Lucy and Jonno to customise specific product in the range.
When it came to the colour palette, Lucy wanted the space to feel warm and inviting, so she opted for our cremasala doors in the alpine profile as well as our spiced oak doors in the modern profile. Combining profiles was a bold move but it really paid off. The texture in the spiced oak doors created texture and tied in nicely with the floating american oak shelves. Finishing the space off with brass hardware and accessors really added an element of luxe to the space.
